Comfortable and good fit, lightweight fabric. The leg length seems a bit longer than average with a little bunching at the ankles, otherwise fits perfectly. The side pockets are convenient for keys or a phone without needing to mess with a zipper, and the lined front keeps it comfortable without putting everything on display. They're my new first choice for the gym.
These tights are good for running, hiking, backpacking, rock & mountain climbing when the weather is too cool for bare legs. They are super comfortable and stretchy with just bit of compression (snug everywhere, but no squeeze). Yes, the waist is cut to be worn quite high (hip bones) and this allows much greater flexing without having butt crack. Even enough for cycling, although these are not cycling tights per say.
Also, since I do not find any tights like these to have enough support and side to side control, I always wear the UA jock under tights: https://www.underarmour.com/en-us/mens-performance-jock-with-cup-pocket/pcid1000271-100 without the cup of course. Which BTW, is the best jock out there!
My only complaint would be not have a padding flap under the legs zippers (once zipped all the way) as any zipper like this can dig into ankles if pressed against. I just roll the leg ends up an inch if it's a problem.
I initially got these leggings to run in during warmer temperatures on their own. I am 6'1 @ 205 lbs and normally I would get a large in UA tights/leggings, however they always seem to run large in the upper thigh and groin which provide zero support and you have to pull them up very far in order to make it work. These leggings even though I purchased a medium did the same thing, way to much fabric in the groin area and no compression anywhere.
UA needs to redesign the men's tights/leggings, especially the compression items to remove the excess fabric, and have it fit the groin/upper thigh (without having to pull the garment way up past your waist).
