Love the purple colour.... until you put them on and realize they are literally see through. Very disappointed... fit is great, but there is no way I can wear these to the gym.
I'm not sure what happened to the HeatGear product and I'm hoping that they just ruined this product and not others, but they have changed this product radically and I don't like it. I bought some HeatGear tights 2 years ago in April of 2014 and they are just about my favorite article of clothing. They are comfortable, fit me amazingly (I'm a medium), thick enough to feel high quality, and the logo isn't on my calf looking stupid. Also, they are so well constructed that they are still going strong despite wearing them ALL THE TIME.
The HeatGear tights I just bought are super thin and barely fit me. The sizing isn't as accurate as it used to be. I followed the size chart to a T, even though I still fit into my Medium UA tights with no problem, and they are really tight and unflattering. I have the same weight and measurements that I had in 2014. In fact, I may be slightly skinnier and these tights hardly fit. I also noticed since they changed the material to this thin material, it stretches too much and seems a bit see-through, especially with patterned varieties that I also bought. I'm really disappointed in Under Armour right now.
I hope that UA takes this feedback and improves upon the fantastic product they used to have back in 2014.
I love my UA ColdGear and I thought these would be the same quality, but I was mistaken. These were see through from the front! I could see my neutral colored underwear right through these, not to mention when I bent over! Returning these and getting more ColdGear instead.
As a runner, I read all the reviews before purchasing. Contrary to what had been suggested about being transparent / see through, they are! I intentionally wore black cheekinis (my color leggings is black), stood in front of my mirror, turn and bend and "oh my" BUT, as a runner and the with the correct underwear I don't see any problems. Standing in line at the coffee shop or at the gym, maybe so.
The feel is amazing, the fit is not compression, but seems to be form fitting. The length is perfect, no bunching. I am hoping they stay as fitted after a few washes. I have to say though, the do make my butt look awesome!!!
Overall, a little pricey in 40 something range, but as I always seem to add - add new leggings all the time, I'm looking forward to these being my go too pair.
I have been wearing these tights for years and all of a sudden, the new model has significantly less compression to it, especially in the waist band. The waist band on these tights is half the size it used to be, and there is a lot less compression, which I very much dislike. I do a lot of heavy weight training, and I like having all my clothing super tight. Looks like Im going to have to find a different brand of training pants. Super bummed about it.
Bought a new pair of these since the previous ones have held up so well, these blew a hole in the inside thigh ( a spot that can't exactly be reached easily so I know it wasn't from something I snagged it on) after the first wearing.
I'm hoping they were a defective pair, but this has slightly blown my confidence in purchasing anything else new from UA.
I had read in previous reviews that some found these leggings to be see-through but decided to just take a chance with them anyway. I purchased the cobalt ones and they a QUITE see-through - no legs days or squats in these leggings! I've decided to keep them for runs though.
I wish these would be made in a slightly heavier fabric because they are a lovely color and have a nice fit to them. A note to short girls like myself (I'm 5'2.5), these leggings are going to be long on you, but I've found that to be the norm.
I was shocked when I tripped and fell on a run this past winter while wearing these pants when I stripped them off and realized I had skinned my knee pretty bad, but there wasn't even a tear or shred or loose thread on my pants.
Anything that can hold up that well to a fall, is guaranteed to hold up that well when my running stride causes repeated rubbing. I'm convinced.
I weigh 103 lbs and am 5'5", so I bought myself an XS heath carbon pair. These are the very first pair of UA leggings I have ever purchased. Let me tell you! They are super comfortable, and the length is perfect (doesn't get bunched up at the ankles), though I think an XS is a little tight for me. Still, I am keeping them and will purchase the cobalt one in SM size. Very good quality too. I have purchased two pairs of other UA leggings, and will now shop only on UA for leggings.
These are hands down the best leggings I have ever owned. I first tried out the black pair and went back to buy three more colors. I wear them running, at yoga and just out and about. They are a good length (I'm 5'9) and aren't see-through, even after multiple washes. So comfortable and amazing for whatever you want them for.
